FOR DISTRICT COURT JUDGES 

Registration is now open for the 2025 Nevada District Court Judges & Family Law Conference Seminar, scheduled for April 15-18, 2025, in Reno, NV. No preauthorization for travel (formerly known as an ER form) is required from Nevada Judges. Your registration through ClearVantage Online (CVO) is sufficient, and registration will close on April 4, 2025. The Seminar will be located at the Whitney Peak Hotel (255 W. Virginia St, Reno, NV).

Judges and faculty will be required to make their own reservations at the Whitney Peak Hotel. If you elect to stay at another location, you will only be reimbursed up to the group rate of $138 per night. Please go to District Courts Seminar Booking and enter Group Code DCS25 under “Special Rates” to receive the rate of $158.63 per night. *Any canceled room charges are NOT reimbursable by the AOC. Attendees are asked to travel by the most economical means possible and within the Court Travel Policy to ensure full reimbursement. The AOC Travel website has the most current policies and information, and all attendees are highly encouraged to review the policy before making travel plans. Rental cars will not be allowed for reimbursement. Use of a ride-share is required if seeking reimbursement for ground transportation from the Reno Tahoe Airport to the Whitney Peak Hotel and back. The AOC will reimburse up to $100 for all ride-share costs incurred while traveling in Reno, inclusive of the $5 maximum tip per ride. An itemized receipt is required for all ride-share costs claimed by the traveler. If a ride-share is shared by multiple travelers, only 1 traveler may request reimbursement for the full cost and should indicate all other travelers with whom the ride was shared. The Whitney Peak Hotel offers free parking on the hotel property. 

Attendees electing to bring a guest to the opening reception on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, are required to pay a fee of $25 for each guest. A guest fee of $60 will be charged for the Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Registration and payment will be completed as you register for this Seminar in CVO. The deadline for registration is April 4, 2025, to guarantee meal requests.
