FOR JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGES 

Registration is now open for the 2025 Summer Nevada Judges of Limited Jurisdiction Seminar scheduled for June 24-27, 2025, in Minden, NV. No preauthorization for travel (formerly known as an ER form) is required from Nevada Justices of the Peace or from Municipal Court Judges. Your registration through ClearVantage Online (CVO) is sufficient, and registration will close on June 6, 2025. The seminar will be located at the Carson Valley Inn (1627 Hwy 395 N, Minden, NV 89423). 

Judges and faculty will be required to make their own hotel reservations with the Carson Valley Inn. The AOC will reimburse attendees the group rate of $125 per night plus applicable taxes and fees. Please call the Reservation Department at 775-783-6629 and mention our group code 4884. *Any canceled room charges are NOT reimbursable by the AOC. Rooms should be booked starting on Tuesday, June 24^th, unless attendance is required at the Monday South Central Regional Judicial Council meeting, the Tuesday morning NJLJ Board meeting or the Education Committee. All other travelers should not travel until Tuesday morning, to arrive before the seminar begins at 1pm on Tuesday, June 24^th. All rooms must be reserved before the rooming block closes at the end of the day on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Rental cars must be booked using the State’s Contract, with nothing larger than a standard-sized vehicle being rented. The maximum amount of reimbursement for rental cars will be $50 per day allowance. Using a personal vehicle to travel from Las Vegas to Minden will be reimbursed at the personal convenience rate. Personal mileage is capped at $300 or the personal convenience rate, whichever is less. Attendees are asked to travel by the most economical means possible and within the Court Travel Policy to ensure full reimbursement. The AOC Travel website has the most current policies and information, and all attendees are highly encouraged to review the policy before making travel plans. 

Attendees electing to bring a guest to the reception on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, are required to pay a fee of $35 for each guest. A guest fee of $50 will be charged for the Banquet dinner on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Registration and payment will be completed as you register for this Seminar in CVO. In order to guarantee meal requests, the deadline for registration will be June 6, 2025.
