FOR JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGES 

Registration is now open for the 2025 Winter Nevada Judges of Limited Jurisdiction Seminar scheduled for January 28-31, 2025, in Mesquite, NV. No preauthorization for travel (formerly known as an ER form) is required from Nevada Justices of the Peace or from Municipal Court Judges. Your registration through ClearVantage Online (CVO) is sufficient, and registration will close on January 17, 2025. The seminar will be located at the CasaBlanca Resort (950 W Mesquite Blvd, Mesquite, NV). 

Judges and faculty will be required to make their own hotel reservations. The AOC will reimburse attendees up to the GSA rate for the area, plus any applicable taxes and fees. The recommended hotel is the CasaBlanca Resort. If you elect to stay at this recommended hotel, please go to https://book.rguest.com/onecart/wbe/offers/691/mg-casablancaresort and enter code 1AOC25 to receive the rate of $90.24 a night. *Any canceled room charges are NOT reimbursable by the AOC. Attendees are asked to travel by the most economical means possible and within the Court Travel Policy to ensure full reimbursement. The AOC Travel website has the most current policies and information, and all attendees are highly encouraged to review the policy before making travel plans. While we do not recommend using ground transportation from Las Vegas to Mesquite and back, if you choose to do so, those charges require an itemized receipt, and reimbursement will be capped at $250, including no more than a $5 tip per ride. Sharing these costs and splitting the bill is not allowable. Only one reimbursement for up to $250 will be paid per itemized receipt regardless of the number of travelers “sharing” the expense, and you must note all travelers that partook in the shared ride.

Attendees electing to bring a guest to the Tuesday, January 28, 2025 reception are required to pay a fee of $25 for each guest. A guest fee of $40 will be charged for the Awards dinner on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Registration and payment will be completed as you register for this Seminar in CVO. The deadline for registration is January 17, 2025, to guarantee meal requests.
